Midlife Health Literacy & Education Initiative

Independent, evidence-based education on menopause and midlife health transition — reducing confusion, isolation, and misinformation for women and the people who love them.

    Full Description

The Midlife Health Literacy & Education Initiative provides independent, evidence-based education on menopause and midlife health transition — translating complex physiological, emotional, and relational change into clear, usable knowledge for women and the partners, families, and communities around them.

The initiative addresses a well-documented gap. Most adults enter midlife without accurate information about hormonal transition, its cognitive and emotional effects, or how it reshapes daily life and relationships. Confusion, isolation, and commercially motivated messaging fill the void.

MenopauseDigest is the public-facing publication that carries this work. It operates without advertising, product placement, or sponsored content — a deliberate editorial-independence stance that protects trust and keeps the education aligned with the evidence rather than the marketplace.

    Editorial Independence

No advertising. No product placement. No sponsored content. MenopauseDigest is funded through the Relational Impact Institute's nonprofit mission so that the education stays accountable to readers and the evidence — not to advertisers or brand partners.

    Target Population

    • Women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and midlife transition
    • Partners and family members seeking to understand and support
    • Employers building midlife-inclusive workplace culture
    • Faith and community organizations

    • Healthcare-adjacent educators and community leaders

    Core Problem Addressed

Most adults reach midlife without accurate, accessible education about menopause, hormonal transition, or its cognitive, emotional, and relational effects. Individuals and couples are left to interpret confusing symptoms in isolation — often through commercially motivated sources — leading to strain in relationships, work, and health decision-making.
